Ettringite with Gaudefroyite

This is a dramatic cluster of intergrown Ettringite crystals perched on top of a glittering, black Gaudefroyite matrix. This piece has superb lemon yellow color, and combined with its translucency is slightly ghostly in effect. It has a medium lustre typical of this pocket, which is contrasted nicely by the highly lustrous Gaudefroyite. Clusters of this caliber do not come up often!
