Calcite on Manganite

Lustrous colourless calcite rhombohedrals are perched on a glittering host matrix of fine micro manganite crystals. The cloudy to clear calcite crystals are emphasized by the contrast of the black manganite. A few dings on one of the larger calcite crystals, but otherwise no damage to the piece. While this material does pop up from time to time, it is very uncommon to see specimens with superb aesthetics such as this one!
